Founded in 1992, WINS Thrift Store, part of the Women In Need Society, is a vital non-profit organization rooted in Calgary. Over the years, we have expanded to seven thrift store locations and the innovative More Store, all aimed at generating revenue for community programs. Our mission is to connect women and their families with the resources necessary for thriving, ensuring that everyone in our community has the opportunity to succeed.
With a strong focus on sustainability and community support, we have helped over 27,000 individuals in Calgary. Our programs provide access to basic needs, emotional support, and job training. As a charity social enterprise, we combine philanthropic efforts with business principles, ensuring that every contribution directly impacts the lives of women and families in need.
